About the Immaculate Conception

The Catholic Church celebrates the Immaculate Conception of Jesus on the 8th of December every year.

The Immaculate Conception, a solemnity, is also the patronal feast of the United States. It is one of the few Holy days of obligation on the calendar of the Catholic Church.

If we were to take the date of 8 December as something less than theoretical, and use it as the actual date of Jesus' conception in the year 6 BC, we would reach the following scientific conclusions:

  1. The first day of Mary's last menstrual period occurred on 24 November 6 BC
  2. The end of the first trimester of the pregnancy occurred on 16 February 5 BC
  3. The end of the second trimester of the pregnancy occurred on 31 May 5 BC
  4. Jesus was born on 30 August 5 BC
If the year of conception had been 7 BC, then Jesus would have been born on 31 August 6 BC, but this only leaves two possible dates for Jesus' birth, either the 30th or the 31st of August, neither of which are solemnities, feasts, or memorials in the calendar of the Catholic Church.

Through unique occurrences and coincidences that occurred on the 9th of October 1996, the Cesidian Church has established that the true date of birth of Jesus of Nazareth is Monday, 9 October, in the year 5 BC. Based on this date, we can derive the true date of the Immaculate Conception with a degree of scientific accuracy.
